Greater NY Nursing brings and keeps high-acuity patients home.
Inspired to serve the entire family unit, we select our health professionals for exceptional clinical skills and personal devotion. Together, we ensure that loved ones with the greatest medical complexities remain safely living at home, with family, where they belong.
How We Started
Back in 1991, we
saw a critical need.
Greater NY Nursing pioneered a new age in private duty nursing to fill a great void: Critically ill patients were painfully underserved.
Social workers hesitated to send complex cases home without knowing all needs would be met.
Skilled private duty nurses remained a specialized field, creating a dearth of qualified caregivers.
Other healthcare agencies chose the path of rotating aides, rather than integrating nurses into the family dynamic.
How We Started
What makes us Greater.
Critical is our calling.
Unlike standard licensed home care, we invest our efforts in the critically ill population. To this day, Greater NY Nursing champions care that directly contributes to the extension of life.
A family-forward model.
We keep families together, especially in the face of medical adversity. This means bringing loved ones home, with the world’s best care, so the family unit remains intact.

Clinically Greater
Better staffing.
Better outcomes.
We staff every case with dedicated, highly trained nurses and full shift coverage without any gaps. The result is greater family harmony and remarkably reduced hospitalization rates.
