Through her experience as a registered nurse, she fuels her passion for care in every sense of the word. From homecare to urgent care to neonatal intensive care, Rebecca has seen every angle of patient support firsthand, identifying its strengths, weaknesses, and potential for the future.

But really, the aspect of Rebecca's work that inspires us the most is beyond her expansive skills. It lies in the way she connects with patients, families, team members. Her warm, caring nature makes everyone around her feel valued, respected, and heard—creating a positive impact from the very first meeting. 

Driven by her commitment to continuous innovation, Rebecca is currently pursuing a master’s degree in nursing administration. Her devotion to enhancing patient-centered care inspires all those she works with, infusing the GNY team with even greater compassion and devotion.

As the Director of Coordination at Greater NY Nursing Services, Leslie is dedicated to improving the quality of life for families and their loved ones. Her genuine passion for helping others is reflected in the warm and enthusiastic support she provides to both families and caregivers, making her a vital part of the GNY team.

In her role, Leslie ensures that caregivers are empowered in their positions, offering the guidance and encouragement needed to excel. Her focus is on building a cohesive team, where each member feels appreciated and motivated. This culture of positivity, which Leslie champions, helps create a unified environment where both staff and families thrive.

Leslie takes pride in her ability to blend professionalism with a personal touch, always being available to assist with transitions or offer reassurance during challenging times. Nina’s passion for her work cannot be understated. In her years at GNY, she has gone above and beyond to ensure the success of her team and the seamless integration of any new members. Efficient and organized, she seems to thrive on challenges and treats every situation as an opportunity for growth. 

On a daily basis, Nina spends her time gathering crucial case information while building strong connections between caregivers and clients. Her background in law and her extensive experience in client service makes her especially adept at resolving miscommunications and solving day-to-day problems. 

In all areas of her work, Nina is consistently advocating for collaboration and kindness, creating an inclusive and positive environment for all those who care here and get care here. Her latest goal is to improve the client intake process so that the people we care for can start off strong with the resources they need to feel comfortable and confident.

Shimrit is a dedicated professional contributing her skills to Greater New York Nursing Services as a billing and collection manager. A proud graduate of Florida International University, she is currently pursuing a Master's degree at Zicklin School of Business. Shimrit was inspired to enter this field after witnessing firsthand the increasing demand for home care, recognizing the vital role it plays in the lives of individuals and families. Working at Greater New York Nursing Services holds special meaning for Shimrit; it is an opportunity to be part of something impactful. The sense of purpose she derives from contributing to the home health sector aligns with her commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others. Beyond her professional achievements, Shimrit has a passion for reading and a flair for cooking, demonstrating creativity and attention to detail in all aspects of her life. Her true happiness lies in spending quality time with family and friends, emphasizing the importance of meaningful relationships in both her personal and professional life which, undoubtedly, contribute to her success. Shimrit's journey is marked by a relentless pursuit of knowledge, a commitment to growth, and a genuine passion for both her work and personal interests.

With a healthcare career spanning over 30 years, one of Maya's greatest strengths lies in her ability to attract promising candidates and mold them into outstanding GNY team members. 

Using her experience and education as a foundation, Maya takes a hands-on approach to coaching and developing employees, fostering an environment of growth and professional advancement. Her commitment to the GNY team has not only enhanced the skills and capabilities of her team members but has also inspired their long-term commitment to our mission.

As part of her duties as Director, she also provides clinical and administrative support to the entire team, collaborating with senior leadership to develop and optimize policies and procedures. Her commitment to continuous improvement and her understanding of industry regulations have enhanced our quality of care since 2015. 

From mentoring staff members to negotiating complex contracts with healthcare partners, Maya’s commitment to excellence and forward-thinking approach continue to inspire us on a daily basis. We hope to benefit from her leadership and influence for many more years to come.

Brittany is the Human Resources Manager at Greater NY Nursing Services, bringing with her an extensive background in Home Care Human Resources. With years of experience in the home care industry, Brittany has cultivated a deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges associated with HR in this specialized field. 

Brittany’s passion for Human Resources stems from her belief in the power of people and the importance of building strong, supportive teams. Having worked in home care for much of her career, she understands the critical role that caregivers play in the lives of patients and their families. 

Outside of her professional role, Brittany remains deeply committed to her belief that family is everything. This personal philosophy aligns perfectly with the mission of Greater NY Nursing Services, where the goal is to provide care that supports both patients and their families. Brittany is excited to continue her journey with GNY, contributing to the organization's growth and helping to create a work environment where employees can thrive and, in turn, deliver exceptional care.
